Walk for Arthritis—The Arthritis Foundation's Spring Arthritis Walk seeks to raise money to increase awareness of and enable arthritis research.  The event will be held Saturday, May 2, 2009 at the Summit (outdoor shopping plaza). Register today at: www.2009birminghamarthritiswalk.kintera.org

Fibromyalgia Workshop
The UAB Division of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology is offering a monthly educational workshops addressing fibromyalgia.  The workshops are led by UAB rheumatologists and are held in the Auditorium at UAB Highlands Hospital  The next scheduled workshop will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009  from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.  UAB Highlands is located at 1201 11th Avenue South and the Auditorium is on the first floor.  Fibromyalgia patients can call 1-866-973-6360 to register for the workshop.
